The 9th International Conference on Contemporary Management (ICCM 2026) was held at the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka, on June 3-4, focusing on Shaping Regions for Resilience, Inclusion, and Sustainability. The first day, June 3, included the inaugural session, where keynote presentations were delivered by Prof. Kiridaran Kanagaretnam, York University, Canada, and Prof. Sunitha Narendran, Roehampton University, UK, followed by technical sessions and an evening cultural programme and conference dinner.
The second day, June 4, began with a panel discussion, moderated by Prof. Tissa Ravinda Perera, University of Colombo, featuring A/Prof. Sutharson Kanapathippillai, Deakin University, Australia; Dr. Gajendra Liyanaarachchi, Portsmouth University, UK; Prof. Roshan G. Ragel, University of Peradeniya; and Mr. Sampath Jayawardena, Ernst & Young, followed by further technical sessions, during which 125 research papers were presented. Prof. N. Kengatharan, Dean of the Faculty, chaired ICCM 2026, which was a full two-day event of insights, discussions, and collaboration.
